^ A backlog of 137 (June 7), 2,509 (June 8), 2,317 (June 9), 342 (June 10) confirmed and probable cases was included in the statewide total but excluded from statewide new confirmed and probable cases. On June 7, Anderson, Angelina, Cherokee, Gregg, Henderson, Lamar, Polk, Rains, San Augustine, Smith, Van Zandt, and Wood Counties did not update their reports. On June 9, Bell and Webb Counties updated 4,750 additional probable cases. On June 10, Maverick County overreported 2,132 and deduplicated 2,137 confirmed cases; Bell County also noted a decrease of 154 confirmed cases due to correction of a reporting error. All the changes were reflected in the county and statewide new and total confirmed/probable case counts, but not in new confirmed/probable cases.

^^ Florida cases and deaths are as of June 6 as no data could be gathered from June 7 to June 10.

# Irregular submission schedule of death certificates to ODH's Bureau of Vital Statistics results in fluctuations in reported mortality data.

## The additional cases on June 7 represented new referrals of confirmed cases to the Michigan Disease Surveillance System since June 5. A backlog of 37 and 28 additional deaths was included following regular reviews of death certificate data maintained in Vital Records reporting systems by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on June 8 and 10 respectively.
