More medical meetings to be held virtually amidst global COVID-19 pandemic

As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow, more organisers of medical meetings have opted to transition from a live, in-person meeting to a virtual meeting. The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is one of them. The association's annual Scientific Sessions, which was scheduled to be held from June 12 to June 16 in Chicago, will now be a virtual meeting.

On the other hand, the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Breast Cancer Congress, scheduled to be held in Berlin from May 7 to May 9, will proceed in a virtual format where the dates have been rescheduled to May 23 to May 24.
